Due to the severe weather event that began on July 25, 2020, Governor Abbott issued a disaster declaration for the following counties: Aransas, Bee, Bexar, Brazoria, Brooks, Calhoun, Cameron, Dimmit, Duval, Fort Bend, Galveston, Goliad, Harris, Hidalgo, Jackson, Jim Hogg, Jim Wells, Kenedy, Kleberg, La Salle, Live Oak, Matagorda, McMullen, Nueces, Refugio, San Patricio, Starr, Victoria, Webb, Wharton. Willacy, and Zapata

For members impacted by the severe weather, know that you have FirstCare’s support and wishes for a safe and swift recovery. We serve nearly 140,000 Texans, and we're here to aid you in any way we can—working with hospital systems, pharmacies, and other providers to ensure you get the care and medications you need.

Helpful Tips & Phone Numbers

  • For emergencies, call 9-1-1 or go directly to the nearest hospital.
  • For non-emergencies, call Customer Service to find a doctor or health care professional in your network.
  • Talk to a nurse—24/7—by calling 1-855-828-1013 (TTY:  1-800-955-8771)
  • If you have your FirstCare member ID card, bring it with you when you get care.
  • If you don't have your ID card, call Customer Service or print a temporary card from our Member Self-Service portal.
